FAQ

It’s easy. Simply contact me directly to talk about the details of your photo shoot and then we can schedule your session.

Pretty much anywhere you want (within Southeast Michigan), I travel to you with gear in hand. Do you need photography at your business? I’m there! How about photos at your favorite park? Done! You name it, I’ll be there.

Most individual photo sessions for headshots and portraits usually take from between 30 minutes to 1 hour. Other types of sessions can take longer (i.e. lifestyle photography at your place of business.)

An additional 20-30 minutes will be required for indoor on-location photo shoots to set up and take down lighting equipment. Outdoor on-location photo shoots usually don’t require any extra time.

Corporate group headshots / portraits will last as long as it takes to photograph all employees. The general rule of thumb is 15 minutes per employee plus 45 minutes for set up and take down.

Leave it to me! My goal is to give you a fantastic experience that will reveal your true self and your true smile. Simply bring a positive attitude and be prepared to have a great time!

If you wear glasses most of the time and you consider it part of your image or “who you are”, then by all means bring your glasses to the photo shoot. We can try some photos with your glasses on and some with them off. Then you can choose which you like best.

After your photo shoot you will receive an email with a link to your own private gallery. Once you have logged in, you can choose the photos you like by clicking on the little heart icon in the corner of each photo.

On my end, I’ll be able to see which photos you have chosen. Then, at your convenience, we can discuss which photos should be retouched (and by how much) and which photos only need basic color correction.

I believe in natural retouching, not the plastic look of a heavily Photoshopped image. I will remove all blemishes, even out the skin tones, and remove some wrinkles that are casting distracting shadows (just to name a few).

If there are any special requests, simply let me know before the retouching process begins (when you make the final image choices).

For individual packages you will receive your final photos within 48-72 hours of us discussing the chosen images for retouching. For corporate packages, please allow at least 7 days to receive your final retouched photos, longer for high-volume photo shoots. Images from graduating seniors photo shoots can take anywhere from 72 hours to 7 days depending on the package.

After all retouching and color corrections are finished, you will receive an email with a link to a Dropbox folder that contains all of your final images. You can easily download your images from there.
Anywhere you want! All packages include an HD image perfect for printing out. And since many social media sites and websites have a maximum file size limit, you will get smaller-sized image file as well free of charge.

Some might think that this is a silly question, but with the vast improvements in AI photography, people nowadays are uncertain that photos in a portfolio are real. So, to answer this question, all photos were taken by me without the aid of any AI. These are the real deal. I don’t even use filters during the retouch process. It’s all done by hand (so to speak).
